The ClearDropper is an ear drop delivery device, designed to reduce the amount of wasted prescription ear drops. The device creates an easy solution to precisely administer ear drops to children, adults and pets. In addition to the delivery of prescription ear drops, the ClearDropper can administer home remedies to ease the conditions associated with ear infections, swimmer's ear, itchy ears, or excessive ear wax. Over-the-counter items like Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide, Rubbing Alcohol, and Olive oil are all effective ways to address conditions of the ear canal.
ClearDropper was invented by Dr. John Boone, an ENT doctor practicing in Minnesota. Late one night, Dr. Boone received a call from a parent requesting a refill of prescription ear drops. The prescription cost the parent $100 and was prescribed to last two weeks but was depleted in just two days. The parent asked why there wasn't an easier way to administer drops and Dr. Boone's quest to design a simple, inexpensive and easy to use drop delivery device began.
